“First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do.”
― Epictetus
In this one-time episode for my podcast American Education FM, and now for my Substack readers and listeners, I detail above (just click the play button) my story of workplace bullying, lying, student sexual grooming & physical abuse at the hands of teachers and administrators, those who covered it up, and the corruption that existed and still exists within two K12 education environments where I worked in one school district in southwest Florida. This timeline stretched from August of 2005 through November of 2013, and years after.
This led me to blow the whistle on these teachers and administrators who were involved, which led to their retribution and retaliation tactics against me and others. Such methods are common practice when attempting to remove and eliminate whistleblowers from a corrupt and illegal environment.
In the end, those responsible for wrongdoing want you either dead by your own hand, they want to kill you personally, or they do what they need to do to attempt to ruin your chances at having a career.
Make no mistake, this happens within every American education environment on a yearly basis, and across numerous professions.
Seven months after my resignation in 2014, I wrote a book about the experience titled, Where The Finger Points: A Teacher’s Story of Violence in School and a Discussion of Who’s Also Responsible. The publication of this book was also the basis for later retaliation against me in another state.
This is my story.
God bless.
